To those who like touching, true story, family-love,emotion and a bit of curiosity about tsunami (how it happened ?and blah blah), I think you would like this movie.

Basically ,The Impossible is focuses on a vacationing family which is caught up in the chaos after the mammoth wave hits and got separated in the tumultuous floods.

SUMMARY:
A powerful story based on one family’s survival of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, The Impossible stars Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor and is directed by J.A. Bayona (THE ORPHANAGE). Maria (Naomi Watts), Henry (Ewan McGregor) and their three sons begin their winter vacation in Thailand, looking forward to a few days in tropical paradise. But on the morning of December 26th, as the family relaxes around the pool after their Christmas festivities the night before, a terrifying roar rises up from the centre of the earth. As Maria freezes in fear, a huge wall of black water races across the hotel grounds toward her.
Separated in an instant and seriously injured, they struggle to survive and to reunite in a remarkable true story of perseverance, love and unshakable faith in each other and in the thousands of strangers who are also victims of the catastrophe.
It’s excruciating to imagine a family being violently separated during a cataclysmic event, and almost as difficult to fathom how they could find their way back together.
The Impossible embraces both of those emotionally pitched scenarios, and its title also might reflect the momentous task of approximating the calamity for the screen.

Review from me;
1. This movie has a lifelike scene of Tsunami till I almost scream-out .
2.You can discover how people struggle to survive after a tsunami where there is corpse ,heavy injuries people everywhere in Thailand.Limited of food ,water,electric,phone connection and more.
3.How people find their lost family members especially foreigner that came to Thailand for vacation and seperated from each other just because of the big wave....It is tough,really! I can feel the anxious,worried, be at a lost from them.

U can pictured what I'm telling now if u see them yourself.The actress is really great and the tsunami scene also

But still one thing to tell.I couldn't really bear with sound effect that they purposely make the actor shout and crying out pain very clearly that I even like involved myself inside and keep telling 'pls,no more no more,I dun wan hear anymore,this is very suffering~~~'

Thats all for my review.
Have a nice day ya =)
Thanks for viewing.
